Well, as you probably already discovered, the e-book industry is still young, but it's been slowly growing. In fact, 2004 has been a record year for the e-book industry. Thousands upon thousands of authors write books yearly, however only a small percentage have the good fortune of being accepted by a publisher. This is not because they don't make the grade, but because of the vast numbers. The Internet in most cases is the answer. It's a wide open medium where excellent, talented authors can take their books to market/promote and sell those books while others are coming to the epublishing houses. It is guaranteed as you journey through the ePublishing world that you are going to find outstanding, spell-binding, and top-class works, which are well worth the read. SO WHY BUY AN E-BOOK? Savings is one reason. You can download an electronic book for approximately 75% LESS than the same title from any paperback form. That is because it cost much less to produce the electronic file for your download, as opposed to the printed paperback. These savings are therefore passed along to you. Room is another reason. If you can’t fit another bookcase in your house or take along heavy awkward feeling books on your next business trip or vacation then E-books are the answer. You can store thousands of e-books on a typical home PC or hundreds on a single disc. You can buy an inexpensive handheld computer designed specifically for e-reading purposes, and make your personal library even more mobile. Most e-readers have a larger display than the average handheld device, providing an easy reading display. Also unlike printed books, e-book print can be adjusted, changing the font and size to your personal preference. Therefore you don‘t have to worry about the print being too big or too small. Immediacy is the third reason. You can order a high quality e-book at any time, day or night and have it delivered to your computer INSTANTLY. No need to drive to the bookstore in the mall, no need to wait for a book to ship and pay shipping costs from an online bookstore. You receive your e-book from us as soon as you place an order and pay for your book in either an Adobe or HTML format. You’ll get a great book from one of our outstanding authors immediately and at a considerable savings over printed books. For a multitude of reasons, more and more avid literary fans are opting to purchase e-books instead of paperbacks. So, you ask yourself, why would you want an ebook?
